What is rcvFrames?
This read-only Counter tallies the total number of frames received on the connection's ingress side. An administrator monitors it as the baseline traffic-volume metric against which other ingress counters, such as discards or DE-tagged frames, are measured proportionally. For example, comparing rcvFrames against rcvFramesDiscard on the same channel over time reveals what fraction of all ingress traffic is being dropped rather than accepted.
