This read-only Counter tallies the number of DE-marked bytes received on the connection's ingress side. An administrator uses it alongside rcvFramesDE to quantify, in byte volume rather than frame count, how much incoming traffic arrived already flagged as discard-eligible. For example, a high rcvBytesDE relative to total rcvBytes on a channel would indicate a large share of its ingress volume is already pre-marked for likely discard downstream.
