This read-write enumeration (add(1), del(2), mod(3)) is used to create, delete, or modify a logical port entry; on FRSM12, an SNMP GET on this object always returns mod regardless of how the port was originally created. An administrator sets this to add(1) to provision a new logical port, del(2) to remove one, or mod(3) to change an existing port's parameters. For example, an administrator provisioning a brand-new logical port on the card would set portRowStatus to add(1), but a subsequent GET on an FRSM12 card would report mod(3) rather than echoing back add(1).
