portM32EgrQueueThresh
Module: CISCO-WAN-AXIPOP-MIB
OID (symbolic): CISCO-WAN-AXIPOP-MIB::portM32EgrQueueThresh
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.351.110.5.1.1.1.1.1.1.23
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description: This represents the M32 logical port Egress Queue threshold in bytes. Frames will not be queued until the number of bytes in the queue is less than the threshold. The default value is 6000. Using a very low value could under utilize the logical port. This is supported in FRSM 8t1e1 and FRSM 4t1e1 Service Modules only.
For FRSM12 card: Not Supported
What is portM32EgrQueueThresh?
This read-write integer (1..6000) sets the M32 logical port's egress queue threshold in bytes, below which the port will not begin queuing frames, defaulting to 6000; setting it too low can underutilize the port, and it is supported only on FRSM-8T1E1 and FRSM-4T1E1 service modules and not on FRSM12. An administrator tunes this to balance buffering efficiency against port utilization on those specific card types. For example, setting portM32EgrQueueThresh far below its 6000 default on an FRSM-8T1E1 port risks underutilizing that port, per the object's own guidance, even though it is only available on that and the FRSM-4T1E1 card.
