parTrkCnfgCcRestrict

Module: CISCO-WAN-AXIPOP-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-WAN-AXIPOP-MIB::parTrkCnfgCcRestrict

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.351.130.2.2.1.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: TruthValue

Access: read-write

Description: This object specifies the operators preference for routing control plane traffic on the interface. If the object is set to False, then the interface may be chosen for control plane traffic. If it is True, then the interface is not chosen, unless there is no other trunk with parIfOperStatus added(2), in which case it is chosen regardless of the value of this object.

What is parTrkCnfgCcRestrict?

This read-write TruthValue expresses the operator's preference for whether control-plane traffic may be routed over this trunk. Setting it to True tells PAR to avoid the trunk for control-plane traffic unless every other trunk is unavailable, i.e. not in the added(2) operational state, in which case it is chosen anyway. For example, an administrator would set this True on a low-bandwidth backup trunk to keep node-to-node signaling off it under normal conditions while still allowing it to carry control traffic if all primary trunks go down.
