Description: This object specifies the maximum number of connections that can be configured over the interface.

What is parIfMaxConn?

This read-only INTEGER specifies the maximum number of connections that can be configured over the interface. An administrator watches this limit when provisioning new PVCs, since it caps how many virtual circuits the interface can ever host regardless of available bandwidth. For example, if parIfMaxConn is 248 and 245 connections are already configured, the operator knows only three more PVCs can be added before hitting the hard limit.
