What is parConnFailRsn?

This read-only INTEGER reports a reason code for the failure of the connection, one of down(1), hwalm(2), abitalm(3), lmifail(4), rrtfail(5), or incomplete(6). An administrator uses this to classify the root cause of a connection problem, distinguishing, for example, a hardware alarm from a local management interface failure or an outright inability to route. For example, seeing rrtfail(5) directs the operator to check parRrtFailRsn for the specific detail on why the connection could not be routed.
