Module: CISCO-WAN-AXIPOP-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-WAN-AXIPOP-MIB::frVpcFlag

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.351.110.5.1.2.1.1.1.42

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: This represents the connection type, used for PXM to identify VPC/VCC but FRSM card doesn't use it always set to vcc for FRSM card For FRSM12 Card: This object is used by the PNNI controller and is always set to VCC

What is frVpcFlag?

This read-write enumeration (vpc(1), vcc(2)) is used by the PXM to distinguish virtual path connections from virtual channel connections, though the FRSM card itself does not use the distinction and always reports vcc; on FRSM12, the value is likewise always set to VCC and used by the PNNI controller. An administrator or the PXM reads this purely for classification purposes at the PXM level, since the FRSM/FRSM12 card's own behavior does not vary based on its value. For example, regardless of how a connection is actually provisioned on an FRSM12 card, frVpcFlag will always report vcc(2) rather than vpc(1).

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.351.110.5.1.2.1.1.1.42
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-WAN-AXIPOP-MIB::frVpcFlag

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.351.110.5.1.2.1.1.1.42.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-WAN-AXIPOP-MIB::frVpcFlag.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.351.110.5.1.2.1.1.1.42.1 i <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> frVpcFlag.1
