frRestrictTrunkType

Module: CISCO-WAN-AXIPOP-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-WAN-AXIPOP-MIB::frRestrictTrunkType

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.351.110.5.1.2.1.1.1.46

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Restricted trunk type for routing, used by PXM. It specifies that the connection either cannot be routed over satelite trunks, or terrestrial trunks, or it can be on any type of trunk. It is not necessary to be provide in the connection setup request, the default value is norestriction(1).

For FRSM12 Card: Not Supported

What is frRestrictTrunkType?

This read-write enumeration (norestriction(1), terrestrialTrunk(2), sateliteTrunk(3)) is used by the PXM to restrict which trunk types a connection may be routed over, defaulting to norestriction; it is not supported on FRSM12. An administrator sets terrestrialTrunk or sateliteTrunk on connections that are latency-sensitive or otherwise unsuitable for satellite paths, forcing the routing controller to avoid or require satellite links accordingly. For example, a real-time voice-sensitive connection might be set to terrestrialTrunk to prevent the PXM from ever routing it over a high-latency satellite trunk.
