frResPartRowStatus

Module: CISCO-WAN-AXIPOP-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-WAN-AXIPOP-MIB::frResPartRowStatus

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.351.110.5.1.1.1.5.1.1.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: This will add, delete or modify the partition. In MGX Release1.0: To add an entry, this object should be set to add, value for other objects should not be specified. FRSM will choose default values for all other objects.

In MGX Release2.0: To add an entry, this object should be set to add, value for frResPartCtrlrID may be specified. FRSM will choose default values for all other objects.

Currently the value mod is not supported.

To delete an entry, this object has to be set to del. The resource partition can be deleted only after deleting all the connections (LCNs).

What is frResPartRowStatus?

This read-write object adds, deletes, or modifies a resource-partition table row, and its exact semantics differ by MGX release: on Release 1.0 setting it to add creates a row with default values for everything else, while Release 2.0 additionally allows specifying frResPartCtrlrID at creation time. An administrator uses it to provision or remove bandwidth partitions for a controller on a port. For example, when reserving DLCI and LCN ranges for a new PNNI controller on a port, an engineer would set this object to add and then adjust the resulting row's other partition fields.
