frLocalNSAP

Module: CISCO-WAN-AXIPOP-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-WAN-AXIPOP-MIB::frLocalNSAP

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.351.110.5.1.2.1.1.1.37

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: OCTET STRING

Access: read-write

Description: This NSAP is 20 bytes binary, among these 20 bytes: 13 bytes as prefix, 2 bytes for Cisco ID, 1 byte rsvd, 3 bytes for logical interface: slot (1 byte) and port number (2 bytes), the last byte is for SEL For FRSM12 Card: This object will have the NSAP format as required by the PNNI controller

What is frLocalNSAP?

This read-write 20-byte binary OCTET STRING is the local NSAP address for the connection endpoint, structured as 13 bytes of prefix, 2 bytes of Cisco ID, 1 reserved byte, 3 bytes encoding slot and port number, and a final SEL byte; on FRSM12 cards it instead follows the NSAP format required by the PNNI controller. An administrator or the PNNI/PAR controller uses this address to uniquely identify the local end of the connection within the ATM addressing scheme. For example, on a non-FRSM12 card the 3 middle bytes of frLocalNSAP would encode the specific slot and port number hosting this connection's local endpoint.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.351.110.5.1.2.1.1.1.37
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-WAN-AXIPOP-MIB::frLocalNSAP

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.351.110.5.1.2.1.1.1.37.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-WAN-AXIPOP-MIB::frLocalNSAP.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.351.110.5.1.2.1.1.1.37.1 s <value>
