What is cllmEnable?
This read-write enumeration (disable(1), enable(2)) turns on Consolidated Link Layer Management (CLLM) for the port, noting that CLLM is not applicable to frame forwarding ports. An administrator enables this on Frame Relay ports that need CLLM-based congestion status updates, while knowing it has no effect if the port is configured for frame forwarding instead. For example, enabling cllmEnable on a standard Frame Relay UNI port activates CLLM update messaging, but attempting the same on a frame-forwarding port would have no meaningful effect since CLLM does not apply there.
