Module: CISCO-WAN-AXIPOP-MIB
OID (symbolic): CISCO-WAN-AXIPOP-MIB::chanEgrSrvRate
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.351.110.5.1.2.1.1.1.31
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description: The channel egress cir. Maximum value for chanEgrSrvRate for an E1 card is 2048000 and for a T1 card is 1536000. chanEgrSrvRate has to be less than or equal to the port speed. Maximum value for chanEgrSrvRate for an E3 card is 34368000, for a T3 card is 44736000m, and for HSSI it is 52000000. Note that for FRSM-2CT3 card, the peak value of permissible chanEgrSrvRate is 1536000. For FRSM12 Card: This object is used only for CAC and the range will be same as the range for cir object. The Maximum value is 44736000m.
What is chanEgrSrvRate?
This read-write integer defines the channel's egress CIR, capped by the same card-specific ceilings as the plain cir object: up to 2,048,000 bps on E1, 1,536,000 bps on T1, 34,368,000 bps on E3, 44,736,000 bps on T3, 52,000,000 bps on HSSI, with 1,536,000 bps as the FRSM-2CT3 peak, and it must not exceed the port speed; on FRSM12 it is used only for Connection Admission Control (CAC) with the same range as cir. An administrator configures chanEgrSrvRate to set the committed egress service rate the channel is admitted against, separately from its ingress cir. For example, on an FRSM12 card chanEgrSrvRate would be checked by CAC when a new connection is being admitted, rather than actively shaping egress traffic the way it might on other card types.
