What is cesHdrErrors?
This read-only counter tracks the number of AAL-1 header errors detected on this channel, encompassing correctable and uncorrectable CRC errors as well as bad parity in the cell header. An administrator watches this counter for signs of degrading cell transport quality between the two ends of the connection, since AAL-1 header integrity is essential to correctly reassembling circuit-emulated traffic. A rising count of header errors, especially if uncorrectable, correlates with the cell loss and buffer issues tracked by cesLostCells.
