cesConnMCR

Module: CISCO-WAN-AXIPOP-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-WAN-AXIPOP-MIB::cesConnMCR

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.351.110.5.3.2.1.1.1.40

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Minimum cell rate,if not provided in the connection setup request,it will be computed as follows, For CESM-8T1/E1 - N * 64 Kbps , where N = Number of timeslots assigned to this channel.

For CESM-T3, the value is 44736 Kbps For CESM-E3, the value is 34368 Kbps.

What is cesConnMCR?

This read-write value specifies the connection's Minimum Cell Rate, computed the same way as cesConnPCR when left unset: N times 64 Kbps based on assigned timeslots for CESM-8T1/E1, or the full T3/E3 line rate for those card types. An administrator generally leaves this unconfigured so it matches the connection's actual timeslot-derived bandwidth requirement, since circuit emulation traffic typically needs guaranteed minimum bandwidth equal to its peak rate. For example, on CESM-T3 the MCR would default to the full 44736 Kbps line rate if left unset, reflecting that a T3 circuit-emulation connection needs its entire nominal bandwidth guaranteed.
