Description: This specifies clocking mode of the CBR service Only synchronous mode is supported in CESM-4P Structured mode is always synchronous. CESM -T3 will support only synchronous.

What is cesCBRClockMode?

This read-write value selects the clock recovery method used for the CBR circuit emulation channel: fully synchronous timing, SRTS (Synchronous Residual Time Stamp), or adaptive clock recovery, though CESM-4P and CESM-T3 support only the synchronous option and structured-mode channels are always synchronous regardless of setting. An administrator would select SRTS or adaptive clocking on cards that support it when the two ends of the emulated circuit do not share a common network clock reference. For example, attempting to set cesCBRClockMode to adaptive(3) on a CESM-4P channel would be inconsistent with that card's synchronous-only limitation.
