What is bertBitCount?

This read-only object reports the total number of bits transmitted so far during the current BERT test. It is the denominator an admin uses, together with bertBitErrorCount, to calculate the bit error rate for the test in progress. An admin monitoring a long-running overnight BERT test would periodically check this counter to confirm the test is still actively transmitting.
