bertAbortReason

Module: CISCO-WAN-AXIPOP-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-WAN-AXIPOP-MIB::bertAbortReason

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.351.110.6.1.24

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: when the BERT is aborted, this object would give the reason for that.

What is bertAbortReason?

This read-only object reports the reason a BERT test was aborted, such as a state change on the ASC, the Service Module, or the SRM. It gives the specific subsystem whose state change interrupted the test, rather than a generic failure indication. An admin whose overnight BERT test terminated early would check this object to determine whether a card reset, redundancy switchover, or other event on a specific subsystem caused the abort.
