bbRemoteConnPCR

Module: CISCO-WAN-AXIPOP-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-WAN-AXIPOP-MIB::bbRemoteConnPCR

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.351.110.5.2.7.1.1.1.50

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Peak cell rate of the other end, if not set, will be set to the same as local end PCR (bbChanUpcPCR). However, note that if the PCRs for both local and remote end are set to the different value (i.e., asymmetric conn), then this should be set differently from local end PCR.

What is bbRemoteConnPCR?

This read-write value sets the Peak Cell Rate for the remote end of this connection, defaulting to match the local end's PCR, bbChanUpcPCR, unless explicitly set differently for an asymmetric connection. It exists because ATM connections can have different bandwidth contracts in each direction, and this field is where the far-end's rate is configured when it diverges from the near end's. An admin provisioning an asymmetric connection where downstream traffic needs more bandwidth than upstream would set bbRemoteConnPCR higher, or lower, than the local bbChanUpcPCR rather than accepting the default mirrored value.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.351.110.5.2.7.1.1.1.50
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-WAN-AXIPOP-MIB::bbRemoteConnPCR

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.351.110.5.2.7.1.1.1.50.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-WAN-AXIPOP-MIB::bbRemoteConnPCR.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.351.110.5.2.7.1.1.1.50.1 i <value>
