What is bbIfTrapTransmitted?
This counter tracks the number of SNMP trap messages the switch has transmitted on this logical interface, such as ILMI traps enabled via bbIfIlmiTrapEnable. It confirms the switch is actually sending out notifications rather than just having trap-sending enabled in configuration without generating traffic. If bbIfIlmiTrapEnable is set to enable(2) but bbIfTrapTransmitted never increments despite known trigger events, trap generation may not be functioning.
