What is bbIfSigCntClrButton?
This read-write control resets all the SNMP signaling-related counters for this logical interface, the get, get-next, set, trap, and error counters, when set to resetCounters(2). It lets an admin clear out accumulated SNMP traffic statistics to get a fresh baseline, for instance after resolving a source of noSuchName or too-big errors. After fixing a monitoring script that was generating bbIfTooBigError events, an admin would write resetCounters to bbIfSigCntClrButton to reset the error tally.
