What is bbIfPollingIntervalT491?
This read-write setting selects the ILMI keep-alive polling interval, T491, expressed in seconds via an enumerated set of values such as 5, 10, 15, and so on. It determines how frequently the switch sends keep-alive polls to the attached device on this logical interface. A shorter bbIfPollingIntervalT491 detects a failed peer faster at the cost of more frequent ILMI traffic, while a longer interval reduces overhead but slows failure detection.
