Description: Number of seconds between traps.
What is bbIfMinTrapInterval?
This read-write value sets the minimum number of seconds, 1 to 10, that must elapse between successive ILMI traps sent for this logical interface. It throttles trap volume so a flapping interface doesn't flood the management station with rapid-fire notifications. An admin dealing with a noisy interface generating frequent ILMI events might raise bbIfMinTrapInterval toward 10 to reduce trap flooding while still getting timely notice.
