This read-write value sets the routing priority, 1 to 15, effectively a class of service, that PXM's routing logic uses to decide which connections take precedence when selecting or rerouting paths through the network. Higher-priority connections are more likely to be routed successfully or preserved during rerouting after a failure, at the expense of lower-priority ones. An admin would give mission-critical connections a higher bbChanRtePriority so they're favored over less important traffic when trunk capacity or rerouting decisions are contested.
