Module: CISCO-WAN-AXIPOP-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-WAN-AXIPOP-MIB::asynchronousUpdates

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.351.110.5.1.1.1.2.1.1.1.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: disable - disable Asynchronous Status Updates & Unsolicited Full Status enable - enable Asynchronous Status Updates fsenable - enable Unsolicited Full Status updfsenable - enable Asynchronous Status Updates & Unsolicited Full Status The signalling parameters are not applicable for the frame forwarding port.

What is asynchronousUpdates?

This read-write enumeration (disable(1), enable(2), fsenable(3), updfsenable(4)) controls Asynchronous Status Updates and Unsolicited Full Status behavior for LMI signalling on the port, noting these signalling parameters do not apply to frame forwarding ports. An administrator selects updfsenable to get both asynchronous updates and unsolicited full status together, or a narrower option when only one behavior is needed. For example, setting asynchronousUpdates to fsenable(3) on a UNI port enables only Unsolicited Full Status without also turning on the separate Asynchronous Status Updates behavior that enable(2) alone would provide.
