What is cvVoicePeerCfgRegisterE164?
This is a read-write true/false setting that causes the E.164 number configured for this peer to be registered as an extension of the gateway with an H.323 gatekeeper and/or SIP registrar. An admin enables this so external call-control infrastructure knows this gateway can be reached at that phone number, which is necessary for inbound call routing to work through the gatekeeper or registrar. For example, a gateway serving as a PSTN gateway for a specific DID range would enable this so the gatekeeper learns to route calls for that number to this gateway.
