Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Description: This object specifies the Inbound VoIP calls that match an outbound VoIP dialpeer will be responded with a SIP redirect(for inbound SIP) or H.450.3 call-forward(for inbound H.323).

What is cvVoIPPeerCfgRedirectip2ip?

This is a read-write true/false setting that, when enabled, causes inbound VoIP calls matching an outbound dial peer to be answered with a SIP redirect for inbound SIP calls or an H.450.3 call-forward for inbound H.323 calls, instead of being bridged through the gateway. An admin enables this to implement IP-to-IP call redirection without tying up gateway media resources for calls that can be redirected at the signaling layer. For example, enabling this on a peer used purely for call-forwarding scenarios avoids consuming DSP or media resources on the gateway for calls that ultimately just get redirected elsewhere.
