cvVoIPPeerCfgOctetAligned

Module: CISCO-VOICE-DIAL-CONTROL-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-VOICE-DIAL-CONTROL-MIB::cvVoIPPeerCfgOctetAligned

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.63.1.2.3.1.27

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: TruthValue

Access: read-write

Description: If the object has a value true(1) octet align operation is used, and if the value is false(2), bandwidth efficient operation is used. This object is not instantiated when the object cvVoIPPeerCfgCoderRate is not equal to gsmAmrNb enum.

What is cvVoIPPeerCfgOctetAligned?

This is a read-write true/false setting that chooses between octet-aligned operation when true and bandwidth-efficient operation when false for this peer, and it is only instantiated when the configured coder is the AMR-NB codec. An admin sets this to match what the far-end AMR-NB implementation expects, since a mismatch in RTP framing mode between the two ends would break the call's audio. For example, this object simply won't appear or be settable on a peer configured with any codec other than AMR-NB.

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-VOICE-DIAL-CONTROL-MIB::cvVoIPPeerCfgOctetAligned

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.63.1.2.3.1.27.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-VOICE-DIAL-CONTROL-MIB::cvVoIPPeerCfgOctetAligned.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.63.1.2.3.1.27.1 s <value>
