cvVoIPCallHistoryModeChgNeighbor
Module: CISCO-VOICE-DIAL-CONTROL-MIB
OID (symbolic): CISCO-VOICE-DIAL-CONTROL-MIB::cvVoIPCallHistoryModeChgNeighbor
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.63.1.4.2.1.37
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: TruthValue
Access: read-only
Description: If the object has a value of true(1), mode changes will be made to only neighboring modes set to cvVoIPCallHistoryBitRates object. If the value is false(2), mode changes will be allowed to any modes set to cvVoIPCallHistoryBitRates object. This object is not instantiated when the object cvVoIPCallHistoryCoderTypeRate is not equal to gsmAmrNb enum.
What is cvVoIPCallHistoryModeChgNeighbor?
This TruthValue object indicates whether AMR-NB codec mode changes during the call were restricted to only neighboring modes (true) or allowed to jump to any configured mode (false), and it is only instantiated for the gsmAmrNb coder. Administrators use it to understand how aggressively the codec could adapt its bit rate in response to changing network conditions during that call. For example, seeing this set to true on a call that experienced sudden severe congestion would explain why the codec adapted its rate gradually rather than jumping immediately to the lowest bit rate.
