cvVoIPCallHistoryGapFillWithInterpolation

Module: CISCO-VOICE-DIAL-CONTROL-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-VOICE-DIAL-CONTROL-MIB::cvVoIPCallHistoryGapFillWithInterpolation

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.63.1.4.2.1.11

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: AbsoluteCounter32

Access: read-only

Description: Duration of voice signal played out with signal synthesized from parameters or samples of data preceding and following in time due to voice data not received on time (or lost) from voice gateway for this call. This counter object will lock at the maximum value which is approximately two days.

What is cvVoIPCallHistoryGapFillWithInterpolation?

This AbsoluteCounter32, in milliseconds, measures audio played out using signal synthesized from samples both before and after a gap caused by late or lost voice data, and it locks at its two-day maximum value. It gives an administrator a finer-grained view of exactly which concealment technique the codec used to compensate for network loss during the call. For example, comparing this counter to GapFillWithPrediction across several calls on the same trunk can reveal which concealment strategy the DSP favors under that specific loss pattern.
