Description: Duration of voice signal replaced with signal played out during silence due to voice data not received on time (or lost) from voice gateway this call. This counter object will lock at the maximum value which is approximately two days.

What is cvVoIPCallActiveGapFillWithSilence?

This is a read-only counter, in milliseconds, tracking how much of the call's voice playout was replaced with artificial silence because the expected voice data wasn't received on time or was lost, and it locks at its maximum value after roughly two days. An admin monitors this as a direct measure of audio gaps caused by network problems, since a rising value indicates the listener is hearing dead air where real audio should have been. For example, a call with a large silence gap-fill value alongside user complaints of dropouts would confirm the complaint is being caused by late or lost packets rather than something else.
