cvVoIPCallActiveCallReferenceId

Module: CISCO-VOICE-DIAL-CONTROL-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-VOICE-DIAL-CONTROL-MIB::cvVoIPCallActiveCallReferenceId

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.63.1.3.2.1.43

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: CvcCallReferenceIdOrZero

Access: read-only

Description: The call reference ID associates the video call entry and voice call entry of the same endpoint. An audio-only call may or may not have a valid call reference ID (i.e. value greater than zero), but in both cases, there will not be a video call entry associated with it.

For a video call, the video-specific information is stored in a call entry in cVideoSessionActive of CISCO-VIDEO-SESSION-MIB, in which the call reference ID is also identified.

What is cvVoIPCallActiveCallReferenceId?

This is a read-only value that associates a video call entry with its corresponding voice call entry for the same endpoint, where an audio-only call may or may not have a valid nonzero reference ID, but in either case there's no associated video call entry. An admin uses this to link the audio and video legs of a single video call together, and the description points to the video-session-active table in CISCO-VIDEO-SESSION-MIB as where the video-specific details are recorded under the same reference ID. For example, an admin troubleshooting a video call's audio-video sync issue would use this reference ID to find the matching video call entry in the video-session MIB.
