What is cvPeerCommonCfgMaxConnections?
This is a read-write integer specifying the maximum number of simultaneous connections allowed to or from this peer, where a value of -1 disables any limit. An admin sets this to cap how many concurrent calls a specific dial peer can carry, useful for preventing one peer from monopolizing gateway resources or exceeding a trunk's actual capacity. For example, an admin might cap a peer representing a 24-channel T1 at 24 connections so the gateway never tries to route more simultaneous calls than the physical trunk can support.
