cvCallActiveDS0sLowThreshold

Module: CISCO-VOICE-DIAL-CONTROL-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-VOICE-DIAL-CONTROL-MIB::cvCallActiveDS0sLowThreshold

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.63.1.3.5

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Unsigned32

Access: read-write

Description: A low threshold used to determine when to generate the cvdcActiveDS0sLowNotification notification. This object represents the percentage of active DS0s in total number of DS0s.

What is cvCallActiveDS0sLowThreshold?

This is a read-write percentage, from 0 to 100, setting the low-threshold percentage of active DS0s that triggers a cvdcActiveDS0sLowNotification notification. An admin uses this as the complementary lower bound to the high threshold, useful for detecting when trunk utilization has dropped back down after a period of congestion, or for spotting unexpectedly low utilization that might indicate a trunk or routing problem. For example, if utilization unexpectedly stays below this low threshold during normally busy hours, an admin might investigate whether calls are being misrouted away from this trunk.
