What is cvcStatusReason?

This is a read-only enumerated value giving the specific reason behind a device's registration status, such as configurationError or deviceNameUnresolveable, when cvcRegistrationStatus shows something other than a clean registered state. An admin uses this to jump straight to the root cause of a registration failure instead of having to guess from the status alone. For example, seeing deviceNameUnresolveable would tell an admin the call agent couldn't resolve the device's name to an IP address, pointing them toward a DNS or naming configuration issue rather than a network outage.
