vismXgcpPeerPort
Module: CISCO-VISM-XGCP-EXT
OID (symbolic): CISCO-VISM-XGCP-EXT::vismXgcpPeerPort
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.351.110.5.5.5.1.3.1.3
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: Integer32
Access: read-write
Description: This object is used to configure the local UDP port on VISM used by the SGCP and MGCP protocols to communicate with the call agent.
The UDP port is used together with vismIpAddress to identify the local end of a SGCP/MGCP connection.
If the protocol configured for the call agent is MGCP 1.0, the default port is 2727. In all other cases, the default value of this object is 2427.
In VISM 1.5 this object always defaults to 2427 and is read-only.
What is vismXgcpPeerPort?
This read-write Integer32 (1025-65535) configures the local UDP port VISM uses with SGCP/MGCP to communicate with a specific call agent peer, defaulting to 2727 for MGCP 1.0 or 2427 otherwise, and fixed/read-only in VISM 1.5. An admin cares because this per-peer port setting must correctly match what that specific call agent expects, especially since the default varies by protocol version. For example, an operator connecting to an MGCP 1.0 call agent would expect this object to default to 2727 rather than the general 2427 default used for other protocol versions.

Get a specific instance (index 1):
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.351.110.5.5.5.1.3.1.3.1 snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-VISM-XGCP-EXT::vismXgcpPeerPort.1
Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):
snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.351.110.5.5.5.1.3.1.3.1 i <value>
SNMPv3 example:
snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> vismXgcpPeerPort.1
