Type: Integer32

Access: read-write

Description: A 2010Hz tone is applied, if the co1(Continuity Tone 1) is specify as a signal the range is 2010Hz +/- 8Hz and if it is specify as an event the range is 2010Hz +/- 30Hz. The continuity tone is applied for the specified duration of time in seconds.

What is vismContinuityCo1Timer?

This read-write Integer32 (0-60 seconds) sets how long a 2010Hz co1 (Continuity Tone 1) tone is applied during a continuity test, with the tone's frequency tolerance depending on whether it's used as a signal (+/-8Hz) or an event (+/-30Hz). An admin cares because the duration configured here determines how long the test tone plays before the test result is evaluated. For example, a technician diagnosing intermittent continuity-test failures might extend this timer to give slower equipment more time to detect the co1 tone reliably.
