vismDsx1StutterDialTO
Module: CISCO-VISM-DSX1-MIB
OID (symbolic): CISCO-VISM-DSX1-MIB::vismDsx1StutterDialTO
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.351.110.4.3.5.1.1.1.21
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: Integer32
Access: read-write
Description: Time in seconds for which the stutter dial tone/confirmation dial tone will be generated unless interrupted (e.g. by the first DTMF digit from the calling party). The value Zero indicates that the tone will be generated indefinitely unless interrupted.
This MIB object is not applicable unless the value of vismDsx1TonePlanRegion and vismDsx1TonePlanVersion MIB objects are not 'NULL' string.
What is vismDsx1StutterDialTO?
This Integer32 (0..3600), in seconds, sets how long the stutter/confirmation dial tone is generated unless interrupted by the first DTMF digit, with zero meaning indefinite; it requires a non-NULL tone plan. Stutter dial tone typically signals a feature confirmation (like a message-waiting indicator), so bounding its duration keeps the line from playing that tone indefinitely if the caller never dials afterward. For example, after activating call forwarding, a subscriber hearing stutter dial tone would have that tone capped by vismDsx1StutterDialTO if they don't immediately dial a new number.
