Module: CISCO-VISM-DSX1-MIB
OID (symbolic): CISCO-VISM-DSX1-MIB::vismDsx1RingingTO
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.351.110.4.3.5.1.1.1.16
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: Integer32
Access: read-write
Description: Time in seconds for which the ringing cadence will be generated towards the basic PBX unless interrupted (e.g. by the answer from the called party or a delete connection command from the Call Agent). This is also the time for which remote inband ring back tone will be played towards the packet network. The value Zero indicates that the cadence will be generated indefinitely unless interrupted.
This MIB object is not applicable unless the value of vismDsx1TonePlanRegion and vismDsx1TonePlanVersion MIB objects are not 'NULL' string.
What is vismDsx1RingingTO?
This Integer32 (0..3600), in seconds, sets how long the ringing cadence is generated toward the connected PBX (and inband ring-back toward the packet network) unless interrupted by an answer or a delete-connection command, with zero meaning indefinite. This timeout prevents a call attempt from ringing forever if never answered or explicitly torn down, and it only applies when a non-NULL tone plan is configured. For example, an admin might shorten vismDsx1RingingTO to ensure unanswered calls eventually stop ringing and free up resources rather than tying up the line indefinitely.
