vismBearerBusyCode

Module: CISCO-VISM-DSX1-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-VISM-DSX1-MIB::vismBearerBusyCode

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.351.110.4.3.5.1.1.1.33

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Integer32

Access: read-write

Description: This object is used when vismTrunkConditionEnable is enabled on a line. It is a configurable busy pattern sent out on the 'Bearer' on the channels, which are receiving remote ATM channel ID (CID) alarms. If this object is not set, it assumes a default value of 255 for E1 and 127 for T1.

What is vismBearerBusyCode?

This read-write Integer32 (0..255) sets the configurable busy pattern sent out on the bearer channels affected by remote ATM CID alarms when vismTrunkConditionEnable is active, defaulting to 255 for E1 and 127 for T1 if unset. This lets an admin control exactly what signaling pattern downstream TDM equipment sees during a trunk-conditioning event, ensuring it's correctly interpreted as busy rather than some other state. For example, if downstream equipment expects a nonstandard busy pattern, an admin would set vismBearerBusyCode to that value to keep trunk conditioning behavior compatible.
