Module: CISCO-VISM-CONN-MIB
OID (symbolic): CISCO-VISM-CONN-MIB::vismChanUserPcrNumber
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.351.110.5.5.3.1.1.1.55
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description: This indicates which bandwidth value the user has chosen. This value cannot be specified when adding the connection. It can be modified once the connection has been added. If it has a value of userConfiguredMaxBandwidth, it indicates that the bandwidth configured at the time of adding the connection will be used. If it takes a value of userConfiguredMinBandwidth then the minimum bandwidth will be applied as the current PCR value. A derived minimum value, from this value, will be applied for SCR and MBS values.
What is vismChanUserPcrNumber?
This read-write INTEGER object selects which user-configured bandwidth value is currently applied to a connection: userConfiguredMaxBandwidth (the value set at connection creation time) or userConfiguredMinBandwidth (applying the minimum bandwidth as the current PCR); it cannot be specified when the connection is first added but can be modified afterward. This lets an admin dynamically toggle a live connection between its max and min user-configured bandwidth ceilings without recreating the connection. An engineer wanting to temporarily throttle an active connection down to its configured minimum bandwidth during a period of network congestion would switch this object to userConfiguredMinBandwidth.
