This read-write TruthValue object controls whether DTMF (Dual Tone Multi Frequency) digits are transported to the other end-point on a connection. This setting determines whether touch-tone signals a caller presses, such as for IVR navigation, actually reach the far end intact rather than being suppressed or degraded by the voice codec. An engineer troubleshooting a call where a caller's IVR button presses aren't registering would check whether this object is enabled on that channel.
