What is bearerRcvdOctets?
This Counter32 tracks the total bytes received from the network on a bearer connection since setup. It gives byte-level visibility into inbound voice traffic that complements bearerRcvdPkts, useful for spotting abnormal packet sizes on the receive side of a call. An engineer investigating asymmetric bandwidth usage on a trunk would compare this counter to bearerSentOctets to see if one direction is carrying unexpectedly more or less traffic.
