What is cucsVmVifLinkState?
This value reports the physical link state (up or down) of a virtual interface (VIF) that maps a VM's virtual adapter to a physical UCS fabric port under VM-FEX. An admin monitors cucsVmVifLinkState to detect when a VM's underlying VM-FEX virtual interface has lost its physical link, which would explain a sudden loss of VM connectivity even though the VM itself is still running. For example, a VM losing network access while its hypervisor stays healthy would prompt an admin to check cucsVmVifLinkState on the associated VIF for a link failure.
