Description: Cisco UCS vm:LifeCyclePolicy:policyOwner managed object property

What is cucsVmLifeCyclePolicyPolicyOwner?

This CucsPolicyPolicyOwner value identifies who owns and can modify the policy governing the policy that controls how long UCS Manager retains VM and vNIC inventory records after they disappear from vCenter -- either UCS Manager locally or an external controlling system. An admin troubleshooting a policy that won't change through the local UCS Manager GUI checks cucsVmLifeCyclePolicyPolicyOwner to see whether ownership has been ceded to an external manager, which would explain why local edits are rejected or ignored. For example, in a UCS domain managed centrally, cucsVmLifeCyclePolicyPolicyOwner may show ownership assigned away from the local UCS Manager, meaning updates must be made through that central tool instead.
