Because every managed object in UCS Manager is uniquely identified by its DN, an admin polling this life-cycle-policy FSM task via SNMP uses this value to know precisely which instance a set of sibling readings (name, status, IDs) belongs to when several exist at once. For example, two virtual machines with the same guest name on different hypervisors will still report distinct cucsVmLifeCyclePolicyFsmDn values, letting monitoring software tell them apart in a report.
