This value is the DN of the UCS service profile (logical server) associated with a single virtual machine (VM) instance running on a monitored hypervisor. An admin follows cucsVmInstanceLsDn to trace this hypervisor or VM back to the specific UCS service profile provisioning the underlying blade or rack server, useful when correlating a VMware-side issue with UCS-side hardware. For example, if a hypervisor host is reported as down, cucsVmInstanceLsDn lets an admin jump straight to the UCS service profile controlling that physical or virtual server.
