An administrator uses this hostname to identify the specific physical hypervisor server being tracked, independent of its UCS DN. For example, when an administrator is checking which ESXi host, discovered via vCenter integration, a given service profile is actually running on, this hostname is what the admin would use to match this UCS-discovered entry against the same host as seen in vCenter.
