This is the Relative Name (Rn) of an Observed object -- the naming property that, combined with its parent's Dn, distinguishes one Observed instance from its sibling instances under the same parent. An admin cares about the Rn because it is the local, human-readable piece of the path for one managed object that UCS Manager's observe/monitoring framework is currently tracking and reporting changes for, useful when comparing several sibling instances that share the same parent container. For instance, when a UCS host has several Observed instances defined, the Rn is what separates "this one" from "that one" without needing the entire Dn string.
