An admin monitors this number because it quantifies the internal progress or configuration of that specific Observed instance's operation, which is otherwise invisible outside UCS Manager's own FSM engine. For example, a rising or stalled value on cucsObserveObservedDataSrcSysId tells the admin whether the Observed instance's task is actively making progress or has stopped moving forward.
